The ISLE Pioneer is definitely a decent iSUP for someone looking to get into a mid-range SUP without breaking the bank. Across the board, ISLE offers excellent accessories that make your paddling a lot easier with the exception of the air pump. But in their defense, the optional electric air pumps that they offer are one of the best on the market — good news if you don’t mind paying a little extra.

A nice feature to include was the reinforced rails. This helps to keep the board feel extra strong even when it’s inflated to a lower PSI. Even though a 6” thick board is considered standard on the mid-tier iSUP market, that rail makes it feel as solid as what you might see with an 8” board.

As previously mentioned, Bote is known more for their add-ons and additional accessories. That’s why it’s so refreshing to see an iSUP on their lineup so focused on performance. This is by far the fastest iSUP to bear the Bote name and it truly glides on the water.

This board presents itself as an all-around board with all the bells and whistles, though as a paddle board, how does it actually do on the water? Right off the bat, you notice just how stable it is.
