This four person paddle board was modeled after the company’s Race series and performs at top speeds effortlessly carrying your team over longer distances in less time. Let’s take a look at how the Dragon will take your team and turn them into championship winners.

The Board Basics
The 22’0” Dragon has a narrow outline with a 34” width; this inflatable racer was designed to deliver speed without compromising stability. Red Paddle Co combined their exclusive MSL Fusion technology and Tec Air process resulting in an inflatable SUP that is unbelievably lightweight and bombproof.
The whole board weighs around 51 pounds and can hold over 240 pounds without flexing. Four full grown racers will have no problem finding their rhythm on the Dragon. The US race fin is easily attached and removed and features a swept back design to avoid any debris that could potentially slow you down.

Building the Board
The Dragon’s slim body and long nose let it cut through the water taking you farther, faster. Nose runners are added to avoid and bowing or nose diving and to cut the water away from the deck. The extra-large deck pad covers most of the top deck and is made from embossed EVA foam for extra grip and comfort. Eight carry handles are placed along the rails of the board for easy launching and transporting with your team. Two inflation valves are at each the nose and tail of the board for faster inflation as a team using the four included Titan Ezee pumps. There is a fierce fire breathing dragon spanning the entirety of the deck pad encouraging you forward. An accessory mount with an integrated leash point can be found at the nose of the board for attaching a GoPro to capture your team’s most glorious moments. There is also a leash point at the tail of the board and on the underside is the US racing fin. The fin is easy to attach using a nut and bolt system that you can tighten by hand quickly and easily. The rails and nose of the Dragon are reinforced adding superior levels of durability to this inflatable racing SUP.
Red Paddle Co equips their inflatable boards with a standard premium accessory package. You get a Red Paddle Co insulated backpack or cover wrap for larger boards, a pump, repair kit and waterproof phone pouch. Four Titan Ezee pumps are included with the Dragon for each team member to take part.
On the Water
Now on the water, the Dragon is one of the fastest iSUPs out there, this beast cuts through the water so fast you will find your team crossing the finish line before you even realize the race has started. The construction of Red Paddle Co boards is unmatched, the thought and effort put into this board shine through in every single detail. With that said, just because the Dragon was designed to be the best racing SUP doesn’t mean that you can’t use it to enjoy other SUP activities. The board was designed to hold more weight and has plenty of surface area to fit kids or pets even, for some family paddle boarding.
You can train, race and play on the Dragon with team mates, friends and family. The board is rigid and stable enough to balance SUP fitness or yoga and is quite easy to navigate despite its length, although it will be much easier to move with multiple paddlers. From flat waters to choppy conditions the reinforced nose help keep the Dragon stable atop the water letting you glide effortlessly at any pace.
Pros and Cons: An Explanation
The Dragon is a seriously speedy and ridiculously good looking racing SUP designed to be fast and more importantly fun. The only thing we dislike about the Dragon is the lack of included paddles, but if you’re a serious racer you should have your favorite paddle on hand anyway. It can be tricky at first to get your rhythm with four paddlers at high speeds but with enough practice and an open mind you’re bound to have loads of high-flying fun and maybe win a race or two in the process.
